Last updated: 11 June 2026

Webforged respects your privacy and processes personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). In this statement we explain which data we process, why, how long we retain it and what rights you have.

Webforged is based in the Netherlands (VAT NL003249865B86) and is the controller for the data collected through this website. For questions or requests you can contact us at [email protected].

1. Which data we process

We only process the data you provide to us yourself or that is recorded automatically when you visit our website:

  • Contact and quote data: name, company name, email address, phone number and the content of your message or request.
  • Data you enter in the contact or quote form, such as project type, budget indication and how you found us.
  • Technical data: IP address, browser type and settings and pages you visit (via analytics cookies, only with consent).

2. Purposes and legal basis

We only process your data for clear, legitimate purposes and on a lawful basis under the GDPR:

  • Responding to your message and preparing a quote (performance of, or steps prior to, an agreement).
  • Performing the agreement and delivering our services.
  • Complying with legal obligations, such as the statutory retention period for tax records.
  • Improving our website through anonymous statistics (legitimate interest / consent).

3. Cookies and analytics

Our website uses functional cookies (always on, necessary for it to work) and, only with your consent, analytics cookies via Google Analytics to measure visits. You can adjust your preferences at any time via the cookie settings at the bottom of the page.

4. Sharing with third parties and processors

We do not sell your data. We only share it with service providers who help us deliver our services (processors), and only to the extent necessary. We conclude data processing agreements with these parties. Examples are our email/SMTP provider (Brevo), hosting and infrastructure providers and analytics services.

5. Retention periods

We do not retain personal data longer than necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, or for as long as legally required. We retain quote and contact data for the duration of handling and a reasonable period thereafter; we retain administrative and tax data in accordance with the statutory retention period (usually seven years).

6. Security

Webforged takes appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss or unlawful processing, including encrypted connections (SSL/TLS), access restrictions and secure infrastructure.

7. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have a number of rights regarding your personal data. You can exercise these by contacting us at [email protected]:

  • The right to access the data we process about you.
  • The right to rectification or completion of inaccurate data.
  • The right to erasure (“to be forgotten”) and to restriction of processing.
  • The right to object to processing and the right to data portability.
  • The right to withdraw consent you previously gave.

8. Complaints and supervisory authority

Do you have a complaint about how we handle your data? Please contact us first so we can look for a solution together. You also always have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens), the Dutch privacy supervisory authority.
